vista and 7 seemless install. very fast.

I tested 2 of these drives in raid 0, on an Abit Ip35 Pro XE mobo, latest Intel Matrix Manager and with both vista ultimate 64 bit and then win7 pro 64 bit.

in raid 0, vista average sustained read was ~418MB/s (benchmark with atto)
in raid 0, Win 7 average sustained read was ~430MB/s

installation
plug in. switch on :)
within vista/windows 7, **QUICK** format NTFS with 32Kb allocation size. don't do a full format.

for RAID0, stripe at 128KB

stop any constant disk access services, like super fetch, indexing and defragmentation - this will contribute to a longer drive life.

Conclusion
great drives especially for Windows 7, quick to boot and start applications - I started adobe bridge and photoshop cs3 and both were usable inside 4 seconds.

These are small drives so keep them to Operating system, applications and cache drive use only. store your photos, docs, movies, music elsewhere.

why only 4 stars? 64Gb for this price would have been 5 stars ;)
